Istvan Hargittai is Professor of Chemistry Emeritus (active) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He holds Ph.D. and DSc degrees (Budapest), and honorary doctorates of Moscow Lomonosov University, the University of North Carolina, and the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Academia Europaea (London), and a foreign member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Structural Chemistry. He is a member of the International Scientific Council of the Tomsk Polytechnic University. Beyond his research activities in structural chemistry, Istvan Hargittai has been active in the popularization and dissemination of science in the printed media, radio, and television. His books have appeared in English, Hungarian, Russian, German, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, and the Farsi language.

Dr. Sevim Z. Erhan

B.S. and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering, the University of Istanbul, Turkey, 1980, Ph.D. in Organic-Polymer Chemistry, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, 1987, Postdoctoral Associate, Research Scientist and Research Leader at the ARS’ National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research in Peoria, Illinois, 1988-2008, and CD of  ERRC, Pennsylvania, 2008-present. Research subjects are Vegetable Oil Based Industrial Products, including printing inks, paints, coatings, lubricants, biodiesel, hydraulic oils, and composites. Have authored/coauthored over 250 scientific articles, 9 U.S. Patents, 2 books, and 25 book chapters. Invited to present her research findings at more than 200 national /and international scientific meetings.

Dr. Erhan has received several Agricultural Research Service awards and industrial awards including Land of Lincoln Soybean Association Market Award; US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service Distinguished Service Award; Federal Laboratory Consortium Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer; United Soybean Board Outstanding Achievement Award; and Oil Technologists Association of India KT. Achaya Award; Fellow, Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers; Fellow, American Oil Chemists Society; and the Federal Laboratory Consortium Laboratory Director of the Year Award.

Dr. Giuseppe Giuliano

Giuseppe Giuliano was born on 27 January 1952 in Italy. He graduated from Faculty of Agriculture of Bologna University and gained the title Agronomist at the Bologna University. In the last 15 years, he has regularly acted as a member of the graduate examining board in Agrarian disciplines for those wanting to achieve the title of Agronomist at Molise University. In the last 10 years, he has regularly held seminars at the Faculty of Agriculture of Molise University on themes regarding agriculture development projects, new agriculture and food industry enterprises, organizational and management models applicable to various environments and contexts.

He is founder and owner of a small consulting company that focalizes its activities around the themes of sustainable agriculture development. During the last 20 years, he has acquired with the collaboration of the company staff (agronomists, environmental engineers, financial experts)-knowledge and competencies on these very issues. Such expertise has accrued through activities and work developed in all parts of Italy, in Europe and some African and Asian countries.

Dr. Katerina Pazderu

Katerina Pazderu was graduated at Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague in Phytotechnics, Special Crop Production in 1999.

She is a lecturer at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in subjects Plant production and Environment, Crop Production, Field Experiments, and Seed Science and Technology.

Research interests are mainly oriented to Seed Science (seed vigor and seed treatment) and Crop Production, but I worked on potato quality, wheat mycotoxins, growing technologies, alternative agriculture practices too. Published 39 scientific papers at WOS.
